Sustainability event for your business

Businesses are being invited to an event which will explore how they can make being sustainable pay for their business.

The event is being organised by the Forres Area Business Association.

It will feature talks from Reboot, Moray Waste Busters, Coast2Coast Architects, and Plumbing and Renewables.

The event will take place in the Tolbooth and will also allow time for networking.

Joanna Taylor, a director with the Forres Area Business Association said: “When the Forres Area Business Association was set up, one of the subjects that members and businesses said they would like to explore more was sustainability and the environment, so we are putting on this event at the request of the town’s businesses.

We have a wonderful mix of speakers who will each give their own insight and ideas into how businesses can adapt in many different ways to become more sustainable. Forres, with companies like award-wining AES Solar and social enterprises such as Reboot and Moray Waste Busters is already ahead of the game with regard to this topic and we hope that by bringing some of the local experts together, we can encourage businesses to find out more about  simple steps they can take to improve their sustainability, possible funding and the expertise that is on their doorstep and in turn work together to create a more sustainable future for themselves but also our town.”

The event will take place at Newbold House on September 15 at 6pm. The event is FREE but participants must register at: https://bit.ly/FABAsustain

Light refreshments will be available.
